About Maguire Upper Limb

Maguire Upper Limb is based at the Minimally Invasive Surgery Centre (MISC), which has undertaken accreditation as a Day Hospital with CPG as a Day Procedure Unit. As a hybrid “Office-Based” Outpatient Facility and accredited hospital, MISC offers all patients the “Private Hospital Experience,” whether they are uninsured, covered by WorkCover, DVA, or hold Private Health Insurance.

The clinic focuses on minimally invasive techniques for treating hand and upper limb conditions, including ultrasound-guided and endoscopic procedures for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and Cubital Tunnel Syndrome. Non-operative management of sports injuries, osteoarthritis, ganglions, trauma, and fractures is also a core part of the service. The team is particularly interested in ultra-minimally invasive techniques and the WALANT (Wide Awake Local Anaesthesia No Tourniquet) surgical approach, aiming to deliver cutting-edge care with minimal disruption to patients’ lives.
